Deleting an incident
This guide shows you how to delete an incident / Supplemental Incident Report.
Deleting a Supplemental Incident Report will reduce the incident count by 1.
Delete a SIR
In order to reduce the incident count for an incident type in an Operational Category, you will need to delete the corresponding Supplemental Incident Report.
You can delete a SIR by clicking the Delete button at the bottom of the SIR you would like to remove.
In this example, the selected SIR is a Restricted Work incident in the US-Land category. Initially, the incident count is 2 for this type.
Delete Confirmation
You will be asked to confirm that you are deleting the correct SIR. You can review the current answers for that SIR.
Once you are certain, click Confirm to delete the SIR.
This action cannot be undone once confirmed.
Success Message
After successfully deleting the Supplemental Incident Report, you will receive a success message on the top right of the page.
In this example the incident count for US-Land Restricted Work incidents has been reduced from 2 to 1.
